Amy Hemmer
Administrative and Communications Director
Amy grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and later moved to Virginia to attend Christopher Newport University. She studied both Accounting and Marketing, showing a stronger interest in the marketing side while also appreciating the organizational aspects of accounting.
After graduating, she moved down to Virginia Beach and started her first job out of college as a recruiter for a staffing agency. A year later, she began working in administrative work and began with PeaceLink in October 2022. Also in 2022, she got married to her husband, Michael, and had their son, JD, this past fall. They are moving to Huntsville, Alabama this month for Michael's new job but she will continue to work as our Administrative and Communications Director virtually.
